Meet the Specialist

Hi! My name is Brandi and I am so excited to be opening Fig and Willow in downtown Franklin, TN. God has brought my Husband, two children, and I to Tennessee recently from Colorado where I specialized in balayage and blondes. With over 15 years of experience, starting my own salon in Denver just before the pandemic hit was maybe one of the scariest things I've accomplished, but now seems trivial to moving across the country to a new community.

My cosmetology journey started with the Aveda Institute in 2006 and since then, I have never stopped learning and growing in my skill.

I believe my faith has played a big part in where I am today and why each one of my clients finds themselves in my chair.  I accept everyone right where they are in life and I'm here to elevate the beauty you already have.

When I'm not working behind the chair you might find me on an adventure with my family exploring new areas, baking, exercising, or shopping.

I can’t wait to meet you!

Not just the hair.

Although you're here for beautiful hair, many of my client's turn into lifelong friends as we connect on so many levels through heart felt authentic conversations.  Afterall, they say, a stylist is more of a therapist than anything.

Let's start with a consultation and see if we hit it off.  Booking out months in advance in Colorado gives you the a unique opportunity because I'm wide open here in Franklin and happy to take walk-ins, emergencies, and last minute appointments.

During your consultation we will cover the details and history of your hair care routine and what you've loved and disloved about your past salon experiences.  Together we will come up with a plan and chat about:

How often should you wash your hair extensions?

Halo hair extensions are amazing, you're right!  They save you so much time however, they require care to ensure the longest-lasting result.  Because our extensions are the highest-quality 100% Remy Human Hair, just like your natural hair, they require washing and pampering.

To keep them maintained and looking beautiful, we’re giving you the Best Practices guide on maintaining your Halo extensions.

If you are an active user (as in you wear them daily or multiple days a week): wash your extensions more frequently to avoid oil and product build-up.

If you wear them 1x per week or 3-4 times per month, you can probably wash them every 2-3 months. Just keep an eye on them. Again, depending on how oily your natural hair is and what products you use on them, you may want to wash them more frequently.
